This might sound against the grain however all I want you to do is float the bags for 10 minutes in the tank or pond and then quickly get the fish out of the bag and into its new home. Make sure you do not have beauty products or lotions on your hands. Use freshly washed, wet hands. Nets are not acceptable.

Discard the water and bags. DO NOT try adding tank or pond water slowly because this only allows for a gas exchange to happen and the fish are exposed to possible ammonia damage. It has been scientifically proven that fish don’t actually fully acclimate for 1-2 weeks so don’t expose your fish to this completely useless practice and possibly damaging them.

Keep the lights off for 24 hours and DO NOT feed for 24-48 hours. Sounds simple lol but it really is just that easy. If for any reason you need assistance never hesitate to reach out to me.
